Toa Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President: Takeshi Hayakawa) has been awarded the construction project of three container berths in the Tuas area of Singapore from PSA Corporation (Headquarters: Singapore). (Price not disclosed)
This project is to construct 3 additional container berths over 55 hectares in the south side. Toa Corporation was previously awarded the project to construct 8 container berths over 180 hectares in 2019.

The first two berths at Tuas Port Phase One has been in operation since 2021 and the port will be developed in phases. Upon completion in the 2040s, it will be the world's largest automated container port with an annual handling capacity of 65 million TEUs.
