The SGM (Super Geo-Material) Lightweight Soil Method can be used to create a stabilized and light weight foundation capable of withstanding settlement, earthquake and liquefaction. The material is produced by mixing a dredged / excavated soil with stabilization agents such as cement and lightweight materials such as air foam or small beads. The mixed material has high strength despite a low density compared to fill material of natural origin.
